AI Engineer position in Waltham, MA focused on building AI agents that connect with SolidWorks to automate engineering workflows.

Design and develop AI agents that interact with SolidWorks via APIs.
Build multi-step reasoning workflows where agents parse instructions, plan actions, and carry out CAD operations.
Integrate AI agents into client-server architectures using WebSocket, REST, or other communication protocols.
Implement automated sketch creation and 3D model generation.
Debug and optimize agent workflows to maintain robust and accurate outputs.
Evaluate agent performance, tune prompts, and reduce hallucinations in structured engineering tasks.
Collaborate with mechanical engineers, UI/UX developers, and product definition to build and implement AI agentic workflows.

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering, IT, or a related engineering stream.
2–5 years of experience with C#, C++/C, Python, and AI technologies.
Strong understanding of software engineering principles and object-oriented programming.
Interest or experience with AI/ML for graphics, rendering, image generation, or workflow automation is a plus.
Familiarity with CAD, visualization, simulation, or content creation applications is beneficial.
Knowledge of other scripting languages is a plus.
