Analytics Engineer - AI Trainer
Job Description
DataAnnotation seeks an Analytics Engineer - AI Trainer for a remote contract engagement based in Seattle, WA. The role centers on training and evaluating AI models for quantitative analysis, designing training tasks, and delivering feedback to guide model development. The arrangement offers flexible scheduling and compensation up to $60 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Assess AI-generated quantitative work for technical accuracy and real-world validity, covering statistical analysis, predictive modeling, scientific reasoning, and data-driven insights.
- Design and implement quantitative problems used to train and benchmark AI systems, spanning forecasting, experimental analysis, optimization, and statistical inference.
- Produce clear technical explanations and thoroughly documented analytical code to support reproducibility and collaboration.
- Deliver actionable feedback that informs the next generation of AI models built to reason about data and analytics.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a quantitative role or research environment, such as data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, operations research, or related fields.
- Some coding experience, with comfort writing and reviewing analytical code end-to-end.
- Practical experience with statistical methods, predictive modeling, and experiment design, including A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and time-series forecasting.
- Fluency in English with strong writing skills.
