Associate AI Engineer

An Associate AI Engineer role is available with T-Mobile USA, Inc. in Bellevue, WA with an onsite work arrangement. In this position, you will support the development and optimization of artificial intelligence (AI) models aimed at improving customer service automation, with a focus on practical performance in production environments.

You will use prompt engineering and fine-tuning techniques, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help contribute to AI system architecture that supports reliable, accurate, and efficient customer interactions.

What you’ll do

• Apply prompt engineering techniques to enhance AI model performance for customer service automation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven enhancements into production systems
• Support the development and optimization of AI models to meet operational goals
• Contribute to AI system architecture to improve customer interactions
• Ensure reliability, accuracy, and efficiency of AI applications in customer service operations
• Perform fine-tuning to improve AI performance and user satisfaction
• Complete other duties and projects as assigned by business management

Preferred qualifications

• Less than 2 years applying AI techniques such as prompt engineering and fine-tuning
• Less than 2 years collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven solutions into production systems

Certifications (preferred)

• Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
• Machine Learning Certification

Compensation and education

• Salary range: USD 80,900 - 160,710 per year
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree
