Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and maintain avionics software for aerospace applications.
- Develop software in accordance with DO-178 processes and certification requirements.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, and test engineering teams across the development lifecycle.
- Participate in software architecture reviews, design reviews, code reviews, and verification activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects while supporting system integration efforts.
- Create and maintain technical documentation to support software development and certification.
- Ensure software meets performance, reliability, and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent software development experience.
- Experience developing avionics software in accordance with DO-178 standards.
- Proficiency in C and/or C++ programming.
- Experience with Flight Controls or Flight Management Systems (FMS).
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and engineering best practices.
