Job Description
Deloitte is seeking an AWS Data Engineer - Consultant in Houston, TX (onsite) to design, develop, and deploy scalable data engineering and ETL solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable data engineering and ETL solutions in a mission-focused environment.
- Apply deep expertise in Python, SQL, and AWS-based data integration to build and maintain backend data pipelines, ETL workflows, and cloud-native processing solutions using AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, and Amazon S3.
- Leverage strong database design and data architecture knowledge, including schema development, data modeling, normalization, optimization, and data integrity controls, translating business and technical requirements into secure, maintainable, and high-performing data solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2+ years of experience in SQL, Python, ETL architecture and development, AWS cloud engineering, database and data management.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role.
- Travel up to 10% on average, depending on client engagements and project needs.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
