Civil Engineer

Paramount Placement is hiring multiple Civil Engineers for an in-person opportunity in Lockport, NY. This role supports commercial construction work, combining design assistance with scheduling and financial tracking while coordinating compliance across project stakeholders.

Working directly with the project team and under the direction of the head architect, you will help keep deliverables on track through deadline-focused, detail-oriented execution. The position is suited for candidates with hands-on site engineering design/build and building system design experience.

Role Overview

• In-person (onsite) Civil Engineer position supporting commercial construction projects
• Works closely with the head architect and collaborates with teams and management

Responsibilities

• Assist on commercial construction projects as directed by the head architect
• Support design activities and help manage project timelines and budgets
• Ensure compliance coordination throughout the work
• Coordinate with teams and stakeholders while maintaining a deadline and detail-oriented approach
• Collaborate with team members and management

Requirements

• 2-5+ years of site engineering design/build and building system design experience
• Bachelor of Science or Associate Degree required
• Auto CAD experience required
• Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel experience required
• Structural and mechanical engineering experience required
• Plumbing experience required
• Experience conducting special inspections required

Preferred Qualifications

• Stamp experience preferred
