Civil Engineer

EPD Consultants, Inc. is looking for a Civil Engineer to support civil and environmental engineering design services in Carson, CA. This is an in-person, full-time role focused on technical analysis, design deliverables, and the coordination needed to move projects through plan review and approvals.

In this position, you will contribute to engineering calculations and the preparation of plans and reports, while also working closely with client representatives and relevant government agencies. The work is tied to established budgets and schedules, with an emphasis on producing accurate documentation and staying on track from start to approval.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis and calculations
• Prepare plans and reports in alignment with budgets and schedules
• Communicate with client representatives throughout project progress
• Obtain plan approvals from the relevant government agencies

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years at a civil engineering consulting firm in the United States
• Experience preparing civil engineering plans and reports
• Excellent AutoCAD skills
• Track record of completing projects on schedule and on budget
• Strong communication skills
