Civil Engineer (Florida Professional Engineer – P.E.)
Job Description
Licensed Florida Professional Engineer with land development experience to prepare, seal, and manage civil engineering plans and steer entitlement and permitting for development projects as the primary engineering representative.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, seal, and oversee civil engineering plans for land development projects in Florida.
- Lead the entitlement and permitting process, acting as the company’s principal engineering representative.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary consultants and integrate their work into cohesive project designs.
- Ensure designs comply with Florida land development regulations and permitting requirements.
- Provide independent engineering judgment to develop site development concepts and finalize technical documents.
- Maintain clear communications with internal teams and external stakeholders to support project timelines.
- Support on-site project activities and collaborate to ensure quality and accuracy of deliverables.
- Hold responsibilities on-site in Zephyrhills, FL to manage project progression.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Current Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
- Minimum of five years of land development civil engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of Florida land development regulations, permitting processes, and site development design.
- Ability to independently prepare and seal civil engineering plans for land development projects.
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary consultants and integrating their work into project designs.
- Excellent communication, organization, and technical writing skills.
- Valid Florida driver’s license.
