Civil Engineer Project Manager

Hybrid flexibility in Englewood, CO, plus a compensation package of USD 113,000 - 148,000 per year. You will lead civil design projects with clear ownership, direct client and agency interaction, and the chance to mentor a small team. What You’ll Do

You will own civil design projects from initial concept through construction documents, balancing delivery across budget and schedule while keeping client communication moving with minimal oversight. You will also coordinate with municipalities, agencies, and other disciplines to support approvals and ensure timelines stay on track.

• Lead civil design projects from concept through construction documents.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and client communication independently.
• Provide QA/QC support for work completed by less experienced engineers.
• Mentor Project Engineers on technical and process questions.
• Coordinate approvals with municipalities and agencies, working alongside other disciplines as needed.
• Surface project or resourcing issues to leadership before they escalate.
• Oversee one to three Project Engineers, depending on experience level.

What You Bring

• At least 2 years of project manager experience in Land Development.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (required).
• Experience with full project ownership from concept to completion, not just supporting as a coordinator or assistant PM.

Project Milestones (Expected Outcomes)

• Within 15 Days: Get up to speed on CORE financial processes and CAD standards, and build relationships with your team and clients.
• Within 30 Days: Independently manage project budgets, schedules, and client communication with minimal oversight.
• Within 45 Days: Lead your project portfolio as a trusted senior point of contact for clients and a go-to mentor for junior engineers.

Schedule and Work Setup

Typical hours are generally 8am to 5pm business hours with flexible hours. This is hybrid in Englewood, CO, with Wednesday remote days available.
