Civil Site Engineer

The Civil Site Engineer role, based onsite in Harrington, Delaware, supports land development initiatives across Kent and Sussex Counties, with emphasis on site design, subdivision planning, stormwater management, and construction support for residential, commercial, and industrial developments.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil site design plans covering grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control measures.
• Create stormwater management solutions in compliance with DNREC Sediment and Stormwater Regulations.
• Carry out hydrologic and hydraulic analyses using HydroCAD or similar software.
• Prepare subdivision and land development plans for municipal and county authorities.
• Collaborate with agencies including DelDOT, DNREC, conservation districts, and local planning departments.
• Support permitting activities, prepare technical reports, and assist with construction administration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0 to 8 years of experience in site design or land development engineering.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
