Responsibilities
- Provide electrical engineering leadership and project management to boost plant operations and drive continuous improvement
- Oversee electrical and controls aspects of capital projects, process improvement initiatives, and equipment upgrades
- Manage projects end-to-end from planning and design through installation, startup, and commissioning
- Apply programming expertise across automation platforms including PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, VFDs, and SCADA systems
- Assess and implement improvements to automation and control systems to optimize plant performance
- Develop electrical panel layouts using 3D design tools
Requirements
- BS Degree in Engineering required
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with programming electrical systems such as PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs
- Broad familiarity with a wide variety of automation brands and platforms is highly desirable
- Ability to work with diverse legacy systems and drive modernization and upgrade efforts
- Proficiency in 3D design packages for electrical panel layout
