Cyber Full-Stack Technical Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business partners, solution engineers, team members, and leadership to capture requirements and deliver robust technical solutions.
• Analyze user needs and implement new or enhanced product functionality across the full stack.
• Identify core drivers of problems and propose technical approaches grounded in analysis, experience, and sound decision making.
• Develop client-focused solutions using appropriate methods and tools, and validate outcomes with subject-matter experts.
• Leverage cutting-edge methods and tooling to contribute to the ongoing development of methods and tools on engagements.

Requirements

• Hands-on full-stack software development experience across frontend and backend technologies.
• Experience designing, deploying, and supporting AI, Generative AI, or agent-based AI solutions and architectures in enterprise applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming using Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Frontend development experience with Angular, React, or Next.js, and production-grade JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Backend experience with at least one stack: Node.js, Python (Django or Flask), or Java (Spring Boot).
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and at least one NoSQL database (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, or DynamoDB).
• Proficiency with Git and development lifecycle tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, or equivalent) and with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience deploying applications, APIs, or analytics workloads to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Cloud certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, data science, applied mathematics, physics, statistics, or a related field.

The Team

Deloitte's Cyber Engineering team is accelerating the development of cybersecurity technology to support next generation services. The team focuses on building capabilities that shape the future of cybersecurity offerings and collaborates across disciplines to deliver innovative solutions.

Position Summary

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality products within scheduled timelines, and, on a basis determined by need, mentoring and directing junior team members while coordinating with onsite and offshore teams to understand functional requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Docker and container-based application development, including serverless architectures.
• Background in secure development practices or cybersecurity-focused application development.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying GenAI or large language model powered solutions in client or production environments.
• Practical experience with Frontier GenAI Platforms such as Anthropic, Google, or OpenAI, including Claude API, Claude for Enterprise, Gemini API, Vertex AI, and related tooling.
• Contributions to project planning, estimation, or risk tracking activities.
• Mentoring junior or mid-level developers, conducting code reviews, and providing development feedback.
• Ability to partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in cross-functional teams.
• Cloud certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
• Exposure to graph databases such as Neo4j or Memgraph.
• Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle.
• Experience with Bootstrap, jQuery, or JSP in legacy or mixed-technology environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps or DevSecOps practices, GitOps, and Kubernetes customization.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Compensation

Salary range: USD 122,000 - 240,500 per year.
