Cyber Full-Stack Technical Software Engineer
Job Description
Deloitte is seeking a Cyber Full-Stack Technical Software Engineer for the onsite team in Stamford, CT. The role focuses on delivering high quality cybersecurity software solutions, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with business stakeholders on AI-enabled initiatives across cloud platforms. The position offers a salary range of USD 122,000 to 240,500 per year and requires a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution engineers, project teams, and leadership to interpret requirements and deliver robust technical solutions.
- Analyze user requirements and business needs to implement new functionality or enhance existing product features.
- Identify root causes and propose technical solutions based on analysis, experience, and judgment.
- Develop client-focused solutions using appropriate methods and tools and validate outcomes with subject matter experts.
- Advocate for modern methods and tools and apply them to engagements while contributing to the ongoing development of methods and tooling.
- Demonstrate accountability and contribute to the successful realization of client goals.
Requirements
- Hands-on full-stack development experience across frontend and backend technologies.
- Experience designing, building, deploying, implementing, or supporting AI, Generative AI, or Agentic AI solutions in enterprise applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming with Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Frontend development experience using Angular, React, or Next.js with production work on JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with at least one backend stack such as Node.js, Python (Django or Flask), or Java (Spring Boot).
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs and microservices.
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and at least one NoSQL database (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, or DynamoDB).
- Experience using Git and development lifecycle tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, or equivalent) and with automated testing and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Experience deploying applications, APIs, or analytics workloads to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Cloud certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, data science, applied mathematics, physics, statistics, or a related field.

Position Summary
The successful candidate will deliver high quality products within established timelines. Depending on project needs, they may mentor or direct junior team members and coordinate with onsite and offshore teams to interpret functional requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Docker, container-based application development, and serverless architectures.
- Experience with secure development practices or cybersecurity focused application development.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying GenAI or LLM powered solutions in client or production environments.
- Experience with one of the Frontier GenAI Platforms such as Anthropic, Google, or OpenAI, including hands-on work with Claude API, Claude for Enterprise, Claude Code, Gemini API, Vertex AI Agent Builder, Grounding, Google Workspace integration, GPT-4o, Assistants API, or Responses API.
- Experience contributing to project planning, estimation, or risk tracking.
- Experience mentoring junior or mid-level developers, leading code reviews, and providing development feedback.
- Experience partnering with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in cross-functional teams.
- Cloud certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
- Exposure to graph databases such as Neo4j or Memgraph.
- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Experience with Bootstrap, jQuery, or JSP in legacy or mixed-technology environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps or DevSecOps practices.
- Knowledge of web security, GitOps, and Kubernetes customization.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
