Cyber Software Engineer (TG)

The Cyber Software Engineer role focuses on the design and development of computer network operations tools and related software for Northrop Grumman Mission Systems. This on site position is located in Jessup, Maryland, with collaboration across teams in Annapolis Junction, MD; Aurora, CO; and Carey, NC. The role requires a current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom software for CNO tools and associated techniques.
• Architect end-to-end data flows and tasking integration within CNO toolchains.
• Produce and maintain documentation; participate in design, code, and software readiness reviews in line with Government software development procedures and processes; programming languages include Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.
• Develop Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET, UNIX applications using make based or comparable build environments, or embedded and mobile platform software using proprietary, GOTS, or open source build environments.
• Contribute documentation and participate in reviews as required by Government procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., computer science, information systems, or network engineering) with two years of experience.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph, and willingness to undergo an additional polygraph.
• Experience in Python or C/C++ programming.
• Experience with troubleshooting and debugging complex systems.
