Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and sustain data pipelines and workflows
• Create ingestion, transformation, and integration processes
• Catalog and document data schemas and metadata
• Collaborate with analysts and business users to convert requirements into technical solutions
• Perform data quality checks and diagnose pipeline issues
• Automate manual data tasks to boost efficiency
• Work hands-on with Azure-based data tools and platforms
• Stay current with emerging data technologies and best practices
• Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies with the team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, information systems, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in a data engineering or analytics support role
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
• Working knowledge of Python for data processing
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Collaborative mindset with a desire to learn from senior team members in a mentorship-driven environment
