Job Description
GreenState Credit Union is seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain enterprise data solutions with a focus on Microsoft Azure pipeline development.
Responsibilities
- Align work to the Credit Union’s core values and Service Standards while supporting the mission and vision
- Maintain a member service focus for internal and external interactions
- Work collaboratively with coworkers to complete duties and responsibilities
- Ensure confidentiality of member information
- Support a diverse and inclusive work environment
- Build comprehensive data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Power BI, and other tools
- Create advanced data models and ETL processes across multiple enterprise systems
- Implement data governance and quality control mechanisms
- Design and maintain complex data transformations using Python, Spark, SQL, M, DAX, and related technologies
- Develop, maintain, and optimize data solutions
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
- Perform advanced data cleansing and preparation
- Support performance optimization for business unit solutions
- Maintain strong attention to detail
- Take initiative and solve problems independently
- Maintain effective communication with the Credit Union team and across the organization
- Participate in community service organizations and/or credit union sponsored events on an annual basis
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
- 4 to 6 years of experience in data engineering and business intelligence
- Advanced proficiency in ETL processes, specifically using Azure cloud services
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI
- Advanced proficiency in Python
- Advanced proficiency in SQL
- Strong understanding of data modeling and warehouse design
- Experience with cloud data architectures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Financial services industry experience preferred

Compensation
- USD 119,078 - 139,216 per yearly
- Salary range for this position is $119,078.70 - $139,216.74 with a progressive benefit package

- Reports to the Director Data & Analytics
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position is not responsible for supervising others
