Job Description
Energy Domain in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines, elevate data quality, and translate business needs into technical requirements in a fast paced environment. This hybrid role combines software development with data engineering, offering exposure to AI integrations and scalable data workflows within a dynamic energy-focused context.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines to ingest and normalize data across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured sources.
- Assess source data and develop innovative strategies to continually improve data quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with developers, business development personnel, and management to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Ensure code quality, security, and scalability.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Strong experience with Python, GitHub, Linux, ETL orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, and AWS.
- Significant experience with AI integrations and AI workflows.
- Experience building distributed data integrations in production-scale environments.
- DevOps experience and practices.
- Experience with relational databases.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
