Job Description
Data Engineer in Denver develops, tests, and supports ETL/ELT workflows, integrates internal systems with external data vendors, and schedules jobs to meet daily SLAs for data warehouses and data lakes.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex ETL and ELT programs and data transformations, leveraging PL/SQL and Informatica PowerCenter 10.x and earlier versions.
- Build integrations across internal applications and external data vendors using relational databases, flat files, and cloud storage.
- Create and manage job schedules with Autosys to satisfy daily SLAs for the enterprise data warehouse and related applications, applying design concepts for Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Data Marts.
- Implement ETL and ELT pipelines inside and outside the data warehouse using SQL.
- Perform unit and integration testing and support user acceptance testing.
- Remote work is permitted up to two days per week.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum seven years of progressively responsible experience with PL/SQL and Informatica PowerCenter 10.x and earlier models.
