Job Description

Join Amazon Data Services, Inc.'s AWS Sustainability Technology team as a Data Engineer focused on building scalable data models, ETL pipelines, and predictive analytics to support energy, renewable resources, sustainability, and water portfolios. This on-site role in Seattle enables data-driven decision-making and decarbonization efforts across portfolios by turning complex data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain large-scale data models for clients in energy, renewable resources, sustainability, and water to support portfolio assessment.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to design and implement predictive analytics that enhance decision-making.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of data engineering experience
  • 1+ year developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using ETL/ELT processes
  • 1+ year developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using OLAP technologies
  • 1+ year developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using data modeling
  • 1+ year developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using SQL
  • 1+ year developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using Oracle
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
