Job Description

Senior Data Engineer - Level 3 for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, TX, with a hybrid work arrangement. This role focuses on transforming data into mission-critical insights and delivering data products and models to support spares, repairs, and long-term sustainment decisions for the IFG Sustainment Program.

Responsibilities

  • Scope and consolidate data from diverse internal and external sources to support spares modeling and performance metrics.
  • Analyze data and apply logical methods to develop supply chain models that guide strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with the F-22 Sustainment Program Office (SPO) and key stakeholders to align data initiatives with fleet performance goals.
  • Deliver both repeatable and ad hoc reports to senior leadership, offering insights that drive tangible results.
  • Champion performance-based supply analysis and visualization efforts to optimize operations and reduce costs.
  • Partner across engineering, logistics, and analytics teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and relevance.

Requirements

  • Experience with Databricks, SAP HANA, Oracle, or SQL Server, including relational database principles and SQL variants (SQLScript, PL/SQL, Transact-SQL) in support of Procedures, Functions, and Views; familiarity with ETL and data warehousing principles.
  • Experience with Tableau, IBM Cognos, or other data visualization tools.
  • Experience with data mining and cleansing, recognizing and correcting errors/discrepancies and ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Experience with problem solving and troubleshooting/resolving complex technical issues.

  • Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week to condensed schedules that provide additional time away from the office.
  • Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
