Design Engineer

KUHN North America is seeking a Design Engineer to join the onsite team in Brodhead, Wisconsin. The position focuses on translating customer needs into engineered components and subsystems, with emphasis on manufacturability, safety, and cost. It also entails developing and maintaining bills of materials for both new and existing assemblies and products, supported by strong CAD skills and a working knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, and machining.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop components and subsystems guided by customer requirements, manufacturability considerations, safety standards, and cost targets.
• Develop and maintain bills of materials for new and existing assemblies and products.

Requirements

• Proficiency with CAD software, specifically Pro-E/CREO.
• Knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, and machining processes.
• Bachelor's degree in agricultural or mechanical engineering, with experience in ag/industrial design engineering.
