Electric Motor Design Engineer

Odyssey Information Services is seeking an onsite Electric Motor Design Engineer in Oklahoma City, OK, to lead the end-to-end design, development, testing, and production support of electric motor platforms. This role requires hands-on engineering expertise and close cross-functional collaboration to move motor concepts from initial ideas through a successful manufacturing launch. The position offers a salary range of USD 65,000 - 85,000 per yearly.

• The Electric Motor Design Engineer will lead the design, development, testing, and production support of electric motor platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field
• Electric motor design and development experience
• Successful launch of at least one motor platform into production
• Strong foundation in electromagnetic theory and motor design principles
• Experience with motor simulation software
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor
• Knowledge of motor manufacturing processes and materials
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
