Job Description

Electrical Design Engineer onsite in Middletown, CT, focusing on designing test systems for turbine engines, gearboxes, and aviation components.

Responsibilities

  • AutoCAD Electrical, Utilizing 2D and 3D aspects.
  • Supports the development of CAD standards and standard electrical details
  • PLC Programming – Brands we use include Automation Direct and Allen Bradley
  • Motor Controls, Pumps
  • Data Acquisition, Signal Conditioning
  • System Schematics, Panel Layout Design, Equipment layouts in rooms
  • Interconnectivity/Cable/Wiring Diagrams
  • Instrumentation & Control Drawing
  • Knowledgeable about National Electrical Code NFPA 70
  • Meet Schedule and Budget requirements
  • Participate in the quoting process
  • MS Office Software such as Word and Excel
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to make independent decisions under senior staff guidance
