Electrical Design Engineer
Job Description
Electrical Design Engineer onsite in Middletown, CT, focusing on designing test systems for turbine engines, gearboxes, and aviation components.
Responsibilities
- AutoCAD Electrical, Utilizing 2D and 3D aspects.
- Supports the development of CAD standards and standard electrical details
- PLC Programming – Brands we use include Automation Direct and Allen Bradley
- Motor Controls, Pumps
- Data Acquisition, Signal Conditioning
- System Schematics, Panel Layout Design, Equipment layouts in rooms
- Interconnectivity/Cable/Wiring Diagrams
- Instrumentation & Control Drawing
- Knowledgeable about National Electrical Code NFPA 70
- Meet Schedule and Budget requirements
- Participate in the quoting process
- MS Office Software such as Word and Excel
- Detail-oriented with the ability to make independent decisions under senior staff guidance
