Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer role focused on designing, developing, testing, and manufacturing electrical and electronic equipment for electronic warfare systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing of electrical and electronic equipment for electronic warfare systems
• Direct system engineering activities for electronic warfare systems
• Prepare and implement directives to support effective engineering operations
• Establish and enforce engineering standards to ensure assigned workforce training and readiness
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Education: BA/S in Electrical Engineering
• Experience: 10 years in electromagnetic system design, analysis, and test with U.S. Navy/Joint DE systems including:
  • Pulsed power
  • RF
  • Laser
  • CIED systems and components
• Demonstrated skills to design and develop specialized electronics
• Prior experience with legacy Electronic Warfare Systems is preferred
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees and outside contacts
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Ability to twist, bend, and squat periodically
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds

Security Clearance

• Secret clearance required
• Must be able to maintain a Secret level clearance
• U.S. citizenship required for Secret clearance at this location

Location and Work Type

• Dahlgren, VA (onsite)
• Full onsite work at the Bowhead office or Navy installation
• No remote opportunity for this contract

Compensation

• USD 100,000 - 150,000 per year
• Target salary is $100,000 to $150,000 commensurate with experience
