Electrical Engineer - Aerospace Repair & Development
Job Description
ACP offers an on-site Electrical Engineer role in Euless, TX, focused on aerospace repair and development. You will evaluate and repair electrical and electro-mechanical aircraft parts, collaborating with global teams to ensure reliable, compliant repairs. This full-time position provides a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $110,000 per year, along with a robust benefits package and clear opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative, safety-minded culture.
Responsibilities
- Assess electrical and electro-mechanical aircraft assemblies and parts to determine repair feasibility.
- Disassemble components with the goal of repairing and restoring full functionality.
- Leverage technical manuals, industry best practices, and knowledge of aircraft systems to define test requirements for repaired components.
- Develop repair instructions and perform test repairs to verify performance.
- Obtain FAA and customer approvals for repairs, ensuring compliance with applicable guidelines and regulations.
- Assist in establishing new repairs for production at our FAA 145 Repair Station.
Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years of hands-on experience in a repair station or other production environment.
- Experience repairing or manufacturing one or more of the following parts:
- Circuit boards
- Actuator assemblies
- Electrical windings (including motors, solenoids, transformers, etc)
- Sensor assemblies
- Torque motors
- Switch assemblies
- Servo valve assemblies
- Experience identifying or selecting electrical components such as capacitors, resistors, connectors, transistors, and electrical wires for repairs.
- Familiarity with aerospace technical manuals such as CMMs and AMMs.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated technical writing experience.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work well with team members.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States and a valid driver’s license.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (Required).
- License/Certification: Airframe & Powerplant License (Preferred).
- Relocation: Euless, TX 76040, relocate before starting work (Required).
- Work location: In person (onsite in Euless).
