Electrical Engineer/Designer

Acertus Consulting Group, LLC seeks an Electrical Engineer/Designer to deliver professional design services for commercial building projects. The role focuses on modeling mechanical and plumbing systems with AutoCAD Building Systems and Revit, collaborating with the design team across multiple nationwide projects, and advancing within a fast-paced firm. This is an onsite position based in Overland Park, Kansas.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional design services for commercial building projects.
• Utilize AutoCAD Building Systems and/or Revit to design mechanical and plumbing systems for a diverse portfolio of commercial developments.
• Contribute on a variety of projects across the United States as part of the design team.
• Become familiar with applicable codes across multiple jurisdictions.
• Collaborate as a member of the overall design team to deliver integrated engineering solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering from an accredited university.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD (computer aided drafting) is required.
• Working knowledge of building codes is preferred.
• Prior experience with building systems design is preferred.
