Job Description

Electrical Engineer, Product Design at Kinequip, Inc. is based in Columbus, Ohio on site. This role emphasizes PCB design and embedded experience, guiding projects from concept to production and helping shape the direction of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems and components for a range of applications.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Transition designs to production, including interfacing with vendors, managing BOMs, and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain firmware for various lighting and control products.
  • Document designs, processes, and test results for future reference.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2+ years in an EE design role.
  • Experience with component selection, schematic design/capture, and PCB layout; Altium preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and strong attention to detail.
