Job Description

Electrical Engineer Staff at Lockheed Martin (Sikorsky) in Stratford, CT, offering a hybrid work arrangement. The role centers on capturing requirements, developing specifications, managing subcontractors, drafting schematics, reviewing supplier documents, planning tests, and reporting on electrical power system performance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and define system requirements to guide design and verification
  • Develop and formalize technical specifications for electrical components and systems
  • Manage subcontractor technically, ensuring deliverables meet program needs
  • Draft electrical schematics and related documentation
  • Review and approve supplier documents for compliance and accuracy
  • Design and implement test plans for laboratory and aircraft environments
  • Document and report test results to support qualification and certification

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum seven years of experience in electrical engineering
  • Experience defining requirements and developing test plans
  • Experience with electrical power systems

Ability to Work Remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The selected candidate will split time between remote work and a Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be finalized during the hiring process.

Work Schedules

Lockheed Martin offers a variety of alternate schedules to enhance flexibility. Schedules can be standard 40 hours over five days or condensed to provide additional time away from the office, in addition to paid time off.
