F-22 Simulation Software Engineer (Associate, Experienced, and Senior) on the F-22 Simulation Infrastructure team in Berkeley, MO, focused on designing, developing, and validating simulation models and environments to support F-22 software development and hardware integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and develop simulation models, visualizations, virtual environments, platforms, and frameworks to improve test performance, safety, and durability across the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to review and define simulation requirements and understand the dynamics of the systems being simulated.
• Model, simulate, test, and analyze to evaluate and optimize overall system performance and capabilities.
• Contribute to data collection and processing for use in simulations.
• Validate, verify, and refine simulation software code, models, tests, and environments; execute test procedures and document results, comparing against real-world data, benchmarks, or similar models.
• Document and maintain technical code, algorithms, specifications, and descriptions of simulation models.
• Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to enable integration of simulation software with hardware devices and systems.
• Adopt current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and methods within the software engineering simulation environment.
• Modernize and sustain simulation software to adapt legacy systems to new operating systems and environments.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• Ability to access Special Access Programs (SAP).
• 2+ years of experience in Ada, C++, Python, or C#.
• 2+ years of experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.

Pay & Benefits

• Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities.
• Pay ranges by level:
  • Associate Level (Level 2): $99,450 – $134,550
  • Experienced Level (Level 3): $126,650 – $171,350
  • Senior Level (Level 4): $160,650 – $217,350
• Eligibility for health, retirement, and other benefit programs; actual programs vary by location and eligibility.
