Facilities Engineer - Level 2
Job Description
This Level 2 Facilities Engineer role supports the safe and compliant delivery of high and low voltage power infrastructure at a Lockheed Martin site in Fort Worth, Texas. The position oversees design, construction, commissioning, budgets, schedules, and cross-functional coordination across facilities, engineering, and maintenance teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, construction, and commissioning of high and low voltage systems, ensuring alignment with NEC, NESC, IEEE, and related electrical standards.
- Develop and manage project budgets, cost estimates, schedules, and statements of work for capital-intensive infrastructure initiatives.
- Perform single-line, relay, and metering diagram design, along with capacity and demand analyses to support plant growth.
- Coordinate with engineering disciplines, internal customers, and A&E firms to ensure projects meet technical requirements, budget, and schedule targets.
- Provide technical reviews, reports, and expert support to the Facilities and Maintenance organization throughout the project lifecycle.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
Requirements
- Hands-on design and construction experience with long-range development plans, high-, medium-, and low-voltage equipment; arc-flash and power quality studies; short-circuit and protective device coordination.
- Ability to obtain United States Department of Defense security clearance is required.

Onsite Full-time: Work will be performed at a designated Lockheed Martin facility in Fort Worth, Texas.
Work Schedules
Lockheed Martin offers a variety of alternate work schedules to provide flexibility. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over five days to condensed formats, which provide additional time away from the office and complement existing Paid Time Off benefits.
Schedule for This Position
Four 10-hour days per week, three days off.
