Forward Deployed AI Engineer

Gomoder is looking for an onsite Forward Deployed AI Engineer in Conshohocken, PA to help build governed, production-grade data and AI solutions inside Palantir Foundry. In this individual contributor role, you will design end-to-end data products that support mortgage and financial services operations, while enabling AI workflows with Palantir AIP capabilities.

How you’ll help

You will design, develop, and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines in Palantir Foundry, bringing together information from internal systems, third-party vendors, data warehouses, servicing platforms, CRM systems, and financial applications. You’ll focus on data quality, lineage, reliability, observability, and performance across production environments.

Your work will also include building and maintaining ontology models for mortgage and financial services business domains. You’ll define business entities, relationships, and semantic structures that support operational workflows and analytical use cases, then translate those models into reusable, governed data products used for reporting, analytics, workflow automation, and AI applications.

What you’ll build and enable

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align ontology structures with operational processes and business objectives.
• Develop Foundry-based applications, dashboards, operational tools, and workflow solutions.
• Configure workflow actions, case management processes, exception handling tools, and decision-support applications.
• Support business processes including loan origination, underwriting, servicing, portfolio management, risk assessment, compliance monitoring, and customer operations.
• Design and deploy AI-enabled workflows using Palantir AIP capabilities.
• Develop agent-based and large language model (LLM) solutions to support business operations and decision-making.
• Ensure AI implementations meet enterprise standards for governance, auditability, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate and implement AI-assisted opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

What you bring

• Advanced knowledge of Palantir Foundry platform capabilities.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python and/or PySpark.
• Knowledge of data engineering, ETL development, and data integration methodologies.
• Understanding of relational, dimensional, and semantic data modeling techniques.
• Ability to design and implement ontology-based business solutions.
• Experience developing enterprise applications and operational workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and systems-thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to business stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver solutions in evolving environments.
• Individual contributor capability and the ability to deliver from requirements through production deployment.

Education and experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted. The minimum experience level is 3 years (with the posting indicating 3 to 5 years’ experience).

• Experience implementing enterprise governance frameworks, including access controls, auditing, data quality standards, and regulatory controls.
• Prior experience in Forward Deployed Engineering, Data Engineering, Ontology Engineering, or equivalent enterprise solution delivery roles.
