Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support and technical guidance to engineers and contractors
- Perform take-offs and prepare material quotes for contractors
- Track project progress and maintain follow-up actions
- Engage with the engineering community through participation in groups and technical committees
- Work with sales to identify value engineering opportunities where helical piles or anchors are viable alternatives
- Assemble material submittal packages for customers
- Identify potential customers visiting the website and conduct follow-ups
- Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and satisfy customer expectations
- Pursue ongoing learning to become a subject matter expert for both internal and external audiences
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Structural engineering, or demonstrated equivalent
- EIT or PE certification preferred but not required
- 5+ years of Civil, Geotechnical, or Structural engineering experience
- Ability to prepare and review standard engineering documentation
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and basic CAD
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with active listening
- Proven ability to build relationships and deliver solid customer service
- Ability to collaborate in a team setting as well as work independently
- High emotional intelligence
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly and patiently with empathy
