Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, scalability, performance, and security of frontend applications, including the CRM, ensuring smooth integration with backend and platform services.
• Define and lead frontend architecture for multi-tenant, white-label platforms, covering tenant theming, branding, configuration-driven UI, environment strategy, and safe tenant isolation.
• Make architectural decisions to achieve high availability and fault tolerance for web frontends, including deployment strategies, graceful degradation, caching and CDN approaches, and monitoring.
• Set and enforce frontend engineering standards across the team, addressing component architecture, state management, accessibility, testing, and design system governance.
• Lead frontend solution design for integrations with core business systems and external platforms via APIs, webhooks, and event streams.
• Apply secure frontend practices such as XSS/CSRF prevention, CSP configuration, and secure token and session handling; collaborate with Infrastructure and Security on threat modeling, logging, monitoring, and audit readiness.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and design reviews while actively contributing as a hands-on individual contributor.
• Monitor frontend performance using Core Web Vitals and real-user monitoring data; support incident resolution and perform architectural root cause analysis.
• Evaluate new technologies and translate business and product requirements into designs aligned with long-term strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong emphasis on frontend and web app development.
• Expert-level Angular and TypeScript proficiency, including reactive programming with RxJS, NgRx state management, and Angular Signals.
• Proven experience designing, architecting, and building frontend systems for multi-tenant, white-label platforms.
• Experience designing highly available, fault-tolerant frontend systems that integrate with distributed microservice backends.
• Strong API design and consumption skills, including REST, event-driven patterns, client-side data fetching and caching, and real-time UI patterns (WebSockets, polling).
• Hands-on secure frontend coding practices (XSS/CSRF prevention, CSP configuration) and designs aligned with PCI DSS compliance.
• Solid HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design capabilities, plus scalable CSS architecture (SCSS).
• Experience with rendering and performance optimization, including Angular Universal SSR, hydration, code splitting, lazy loading, and Core Web Vitals tuning.
• Automated frontend testing experience (Jest, Jasmine/Karma, Cypress, or Playwright) and experience building CI/CD pipelines with linting and quality gates.
• Familiarity with modern build tooling (Webpack, Vite) and monorepo tooling (Nx).
• Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, design patterns, SOLID) applied to large frontend codebases.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and influence across cross-functional teams.
