Energy Ogre seeks a Full Stack Security Engineer to blend software development with cloud security in a C#/.NET and AWS environment.

Engage across the full software development lifecycle from requirements through deployment
Investigate user pain points, identify root causes, and design scalable, durable solutions
Maintain and refactor existing codebases while integrating new technologies and architectures
Design and implement AWS security architecture, including secure blueprints and IAM policy management
Embed security into CI/CD processes and automate security tasks using infrastructure as code (Terraform)
Monitor cloud infrastructure for anomalies, perform vulnerability assessments, and build incident response playbooks for cloud threats
Optimize SQL Server stored procedures and implement encryption for data at rest and in transit
Implement and manage security controls to protect infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption
Apply end-to-end encryption strategies to safeguard data at rest and in transit
Perform functional and unit testing to ensure robust performance before user acceptance testing

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
3+ years of software development experience
Proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem (ASP.NET MVC 5, .NET Core)
3+ years of experience with C#, .NET Core, SQL Server, and React Native
Cloud security engineering expertise (AWS preferred) with certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Security Specialty
Python or Bash scripting proficiency and familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001)
