Full Stack Software Engineer III
Job Description
In this role within Deloitte's Engineering as a Service team, the Full Stack Software Engineer III will lead development efforts, shape software designs, and coordinate deliverables for client engagements across both short-term sprints and longer deployments.
Responsibilities
- Direct development teams to deliver technical solutions using software development life cycle methodologies, including Scrum and Agile.
- Design, develop, and enhance software systems and custom components with modern tools and frameworks.
- Analyze user requirements, system flows, data usage, and performance standards to define technical designs and identify potential problem areas.
- Integrate existing software into new or modified systems and develop and execute test procedures for software components.
- Plan, track, and manage deliverables across short-term sprints and long-term software deployments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or Management Information Systems.
- 5+ years of full-stack software development experience.
- 5+ years of experience with modern full-stack languages (Java, Python, React, Angular, etc.).
- Experience orchestrating in cloud and/or serverless environments.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (Postgres, SQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.).
- Ability to travel 15 percent on average, depending on work and client engagements.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
