Gas Turbine Performance Sr Advanced Engineer

Manpower Engineering is seeking a Gas Turbine Performance Sr Advanced Engineer in Phoenix, AZ to support cross-functional aerospace development programs within the Performance & Operability Engineering team. This hybrid role centers on developing and maintaining NPSS-based steady-state and transient thermal and performance models, along with engine performance and operability analysis tied to development and qualification efforts.

In this position, you will work across engineering disciplines, translate analysis into actionable insights for stakeholders, and support test data reduction to help teams validate engine behavior throughout the product lifecycle.

What you will do

• Build, debug, refine, and maintain steady-state and transient thermal models using NPSS (Numerical Propulsion System Simulation).
• Develop and support NPSS customer models for aerospace gas turbine engines.
• Perform engine performance analysis, operability assessments, and requirements decomposition activities.
• Provide test data reduction and analysis to support engine development and qualification programs.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines and communicate technical findings to leadership, customers, and stakeholders.

What you will bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace/Mechanical or related technical discipline).
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience performing turbine engine Performance & Operability Modeling and Analysis.
• Proven expertise building, debugging, and refining NPSS engine cycle models.
• Strong understanding of gas turbine engine steady-state and transient thermodynamics.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
