GIS Software Engineer (AI/ML)

CACI is hiring a GIS Software Engineer (AI/ML) to build AI-enabled enterprise GIS applications and databases in support of US Special Operations Command.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced AI software engineering practices to perform complex analysis and to design, develop, and modify GIS Enterprise applications and databases
• Design and implement UI systems
• Integrate disparate data sources into enterprise GIS workflows
• Establish and maintain APIs supporting user applications and platforms
• Build frameworks that enable AI/ML functions by integrating ML models into user applications and platforms
• Recommend and evaluate innovative technologies that improve the presentation and use of enterprise GIS products and support integrated systems planning

Required Qualifications

• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering
• 8 years of progressive experience performing design, development, and modification of UI and applications
• Typically, 12 years of progressive related experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
• Experience engineering UI and applications in support of AI/ML strategies for the DoD/IC
• Experience creating and developing custom tools and distributed processing workflows for large datasets
• Experience (high level/expert ability) managing and working with static and dynamic streaming geospatial-oriented data
• Proficiency with at least two scripting and programming languages: HTML, JavaScript, Python, C#, C++ (or equivalents listed)
• Strong oral and written communication skills; capable of effectively directing subordinates
• Required to obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification per DODD 8570.01 (Security+)

Compensation
