This position blends business analysis and systems engineering to support financial systems operations and project delivery. Responsibilities

• Provide system support and conduct issue and incident analysis for financial systems.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for new initiatives, system enhancements, and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with users, stakeholders, and technical teams to clarify needs and translate business requirements into effective system solutions.
• Support business analysis activities across financial systems projects, including requirement definition, workflow analysis, gap analysis, and process improvement.
• Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and coordinate with internal and external teams to drive resolutions.
• Prepare functional documentation such as business requirements, process flows, test scenarios, and related project materials.
• Assist with testing, user acceptance support, implementation coordination, and post-launch follow-up as needed.
• Communicate effectively in both Japanese and English with clients, users, and project teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Strong experience in system support, issue analysis, and business analysis.
• Knowledge of foreign exchange, swaps, bonds, derivatives, and core banking systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into practical system solutions.
• Japanese and English bilingual communication skills are required.
• Ability to work effectively with both business users and technical teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote or distributed environment.
