Managed Services - Senior Data Engineer - Manager
Job Description
PwC's Managed Services is seeking a Senior Data Engineer and Manager to lead data engineering initiatives, guide project teams, and manage client accounts from an onsite Greensboro, NC office. This role combines hands-on analytics work with leadership and client-facing responsibilities to deliver data-driven solutions that enhance business performance. The position offers a salary range of USD 99,000 to 232,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Leading data engineering projects to drive strategic insights and optimize business performance (ETL/ELT integration)
- Developing and implementing innovative data solutions using advanced analytics techniques (DataStage)
- Managing and mentoring teams to enhance their skills and deliver quality client services (pipeline architecture)
- Utilizing business intelligence tools and cloud-based analytics platforms to improve data-driven decision-making (AWS & Redshift)
- Building and maintaining data pipelines and architectures to support analytics initiatives (DB2, SQL Server)
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data utilization and process improvement (GoldenGate & CDC)
- Overseeing the deployment of scalable data visualization and reporting solutions (performance tuning)
- Promoting the adoption of new technologies and methodologies within data and analytics teams (S3, Glue)
- Addressing and resolving conflicts or issues with clients and team members, escalating when necessary
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including adherence to the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements
