Job Description

PwC is seeking a Manager-level Senior Data Engineer within its Managed Services for an onsite role in Phoenix, AZ. This position sits in the Data & Analytics practice and centers on leading data engineering initiatives, mentoring teams, and delivering data-driven insights for client engagements. The opportunity focuses on strategic projects across multiple accounts, with accountability for delivering measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead data engineering initiatives to derive strategic insights and improve business performance, with emphasis on ETL/ELT integration
  • Design and deploy innovative data solutions using advanced analytics techniques such as DataStage
  • Manage and mentor teams to elevate skills and deliver high-quality client services, including pipeline architecture
  • Leverage business intelligence tools and cloud analytics platforms to enhance data-driven decision making, using AWS and Redshift
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and architectures to support analytics initiatives, utilizing DB2 and SQL Server
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data utilization and process improvements, employing GoldenGate and CDC
  • Oversee the deployment of scalable data visualization and reporting solutions with focus on performance tuning
  • Champion adoption of new technologies and methodologies within data and analytics teams, including S3 and Glue
  • Address and resolve conflicts or issues with clients and team members, escalating when necessary
  • Uphold professional and technical standards, including adherence to the firm’s code of conduct and independence requirements
