Job Description

Join a manufacturing-focused security team where your work helps protect operational technology (OT) environments with clear standards, practical controls, and measurable risk management. This onsite role in Marysville, OH supports the operational technology security of the manufacturing environment through procedures, policies, and technical standards, with collaboration across IT and business users across HDMA locations.

Compensation: USD 73,900 - 110,800 per yearly. Working conditions include flexible work hours and schedule, with occasional regional travel and potential weekend and holiday work. The position also includes paid overtime.

What you’ll do

  • Operational readiness for new equipment: set OT standards for new equipment, integrate it into the OT network, confirm vulnerabilities, perform risk assessments, and ensure visibility in the asset management system.
  • Strengthen training: support the creation, administration, and ongoing maintenance of OT-specific training materials.
  • Build and maintain governance: create, issue, maintain, and audit OT policies and procedures.
  • Protect access: establish and implement technical standards for equipment-level physical access and logical access to OT systems and related equipment.
  • Develop OT technical standards: support the development, implementation, and maintenance of technical standards for OT equipment and networks.
  • Manage OT risk metrics: establish company OT risk metrics, perform risk assessments, and establish tools that improve visibility and reporting.
  • Benchmark and improve: research OT security industry benchmarks and generate recommendations to adjust internal tools or practices.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Networking, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 0-2 years of experience with machine control networks / industrial control systems (ICS), with a basic understanding of communication networks and cybersecurity fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity.
  • Strong verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with customers and internal project teams.
  • Business acumen in a technical environment.

Working conditions

  • Flexible Work Hours and Flexible Work Schedule
  • Estimate 2-4 business trips per year may be required to support regional initiatives and standardization efforts
  • May require short-term assignments at other Honda sites for 1-to-2-week periods
  • 0-5 hours of OT per week
  • Weekend and holiday work may be required
