Principal / Sr Principal TEMPEST System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a TEMPEST testing and analysis team with practical engineering input
• Execute TEMPEST testing per NSTISSAM TEMPEST/1-92 and CNSSAM TEMPEST 01-02 guidelines
• Represent the TEMPEST SME in frequent customer interactions for the program
• Assist in creating the TEMPEST Control Plan
• Develop TEMPEST test plans and test procedures
• Review and interpret TEMPEST testing results
• Advise on TEMPEST best practices and approaches

Requirements

• U S citizen with an active Secret clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with investigation date within the last 6 years
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable timeframe
• 3+ years of experience using TEMPEST Specs NSTISSAM TEMPEST 1/92, CNSSAM TEMPEST 1-13, CNSSAM TEMPEST 01-02, AMSG 720B, AMSG 788A, AMSG 784, BTR:01:210, NATO SDIP-27
• 3+ years ensuring systems and equipment meet TEMPEST requirements
• 3+ years providing design guidance on shielding, filtering, grounding, trace routing, PCB layer stack-up, cabling, and I/O protections to enable compliance
• 3+ years reviewing and maintaining TEMPEST design guidelines

• Primary level: USD 108,800 - 163,200 per year
