Project Engineer

The on site Project Engineer role at HNTB Corporation is based in Lake Mary, Florida, and requires a PhD in Engineering with a minimum of four years of relevant experience. The incumbent will produce and modify design calculations, technical reports, and engineering plans for assigned infrastructure projects, while coordinating with the project manager and clients, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to on time project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate discipline-specific work, and monitor adherence to project schedules and budgets.
• Support marketing efforts, including proposal development.
• Assist with the development of scope of work and level of effort for projects within the discipline.
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of the project team’s technical work and guide the team toward project objectives.
• Coordinate technical aspects of the project with client counterparts and teaming partners at staff level within the discipline.
• Collaborate closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 6 years of relevant experience, or
• Master’s degree in Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience, or
• PhD in Engineering with 4 years of relevant experience
