Project Engineer

Gold Mechanical is seeking a Project Engineer to support mechanical project execution and closeout activities at its Springdale, AR location. In this onsite role, you will help keep documentation, procurement, and warranty processes moving so projects are completed with accuracy and follow-through.

You will coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams while maintaining organized records and tracking key project items through procurement, submittals, and final closeout.

Role Summary

Support project closeout and ongoing execution by managing project documentation, procurement activities, and warranty processes. Ensure alignment between outside partners and internal groups to complete mechanical projects successfully.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project closeout process, confirming required documentation and tasks are completed correctly and on schedule.
• Manage warranty claims by coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain organized records covering closeout and warranty activities.
• Issue, track, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) to support timely procurement of materials and services.
• Update and maintain the project procurement log to ensure purchases are accurately recorded and tracked.
• Oversee the submittal process by compiling, reviewing, and submitting required documents by project deadlines.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to address procurement and documentation-related issues as they arise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in project engineering, construction, or related industries preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with project management or procurement software is a plus.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
