Senior Civil Engineer

SA Architects & Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for an onsite role in Fontana, California. The position emphasizes technical documentation, planning, and the design of civil projects such as site development, grading, drainage, and utility systems. The successful candidate will lead project coordination, manage regulatory approvals, and supervise engineering staff while providing construction support to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD and BIM software to develop schematic designs and construction documents.
• Prepare and manage WQMP, Hydrology, Grading, SWPPP, Easement, TPM/FPM, As-Builts, and related deliverables.
• Conduct site visits and take site measurements to support design and compliance efforts.
• Conduct research and verify code compliance throughout project phases.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of civil engineering experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Commercial and Multifamily CD experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required.

• Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
