Job Description

Lead civil engineering work from Annapolis, MD by managing design, planning, and delivery for land development, stormwater management, and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage civil engineering projects, covering design, planning, and implementation for land development, stormwater management, and infrastructure solutions
  • Prepare engineering designs for project execution and review
  • Provide technical guidance and support to civil engineering team members
  • Coordinate with clients and other stakeholders throughout project delivery
  • Manage project schedules to support timely completion
  • Ensure projects meet quality expectations and comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations

Requirements

  • Expertise in civil engineering design and strong grounding in civil engineering principles
  • Proficiency in stormwater management and planning to develop sustainable solutions
  • Experience leading and mentoring civil engineers and project teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with engineering software tools and familiarity with state and local regulations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (required)
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license (preferred)
  • Previous experience on large-scale land development projects (advantageous)
  • Working knowledge of environmental engineering concepts (advantageous)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members
