Senior Civil Engineer/ Civil Designers/Technicians II

Role Summary

The Senior Civil Engineer / Civil Designers / Technicians II position combines design leadership with project management and field oversight of civil infrastructure. The role emphasizes delivering compliant, safe, and timely solutions across site, transportation, and water facilities from initial concept to project closeout.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects, ensuring alignment with specifications and schedules.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to prepare detailed design plans using Civil 3D.
• Conduct construction inspections to verify conformance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Apply hydraulic modeling and analysis using Mathcad and SWMM as part of the design workflow.
• Manage project timelines by coordinating with stakeholders to meet milestones.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and engineers within the team.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for clients and regulatory agencies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in civil engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (required).
• Degrees are not mandatory for Designers and Technicians.
• Proven experience in project engineering within the civil design sector.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D is essential; familiarity with Mathcad and SWMM is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of general civil engineering systems, transportation and water facilities, and construction inspection.
• Excellent project management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong mathematical skills for effective analysis and problem solving.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients.
