Responsibilities

  • Facilitate effective technical interactions among the Air Force customer, the Sentinel prime contractor, subcontractors, and other mission partners
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the prime contractor’s Guidance Computer design and function
  • Participate in reviews of technical and programmatic briefings and reports
  • Support Integration and Test I and T activities

  • Accredited Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering preferred, or related fields such as Aerospace, Mechanical, Computer Science/Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics
  • 7 years of directly related experience with BS or 5 years with MS
  • 3 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in engineering or management support of defense systems, technology, or R&D activities (2+ years with master’s degree or higher)
  • Ability to provide independent critical evaluation of design development and integration
  • Excellent cognitive, written and spoken communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance and all necessary special program accesses; US citizenship required
  • Experience with ICBM Weapon Systems and DoD Product Development Lifecycles
  • Experience with systems engineering functions including requirements definition, management, and verification
  • Professional Engineering License, or active Systems Engineering experience and/or certification
  • Experience with engineering or Agile tools: Cameo, MATLAB, DOORS, JIRA, Confluence

Compensation

Full-time salary range: USD 118,504 to 201,457 per year. Individual salaries are determined by market pay structures, business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
