Job Description
Senior Embedded Software Engineer position at Collins Aerospace in Richardson, TX onsite, requiring an active DoD Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to stakeholders to answer questions and resolve technical issues.
- Design and implement software that satisfies customer requirements and certification needs.
- Produce high quality software builds within an integrated test environment.
- Derive software requirements, create UML design diagrams, and implement solutions from UML designs.
- Collaborate with Senior and Principal level Software Engineers and mentor junior engineers and interns.
- Assist in software requirements verification and testing activities.
Requirements
- Typically a STEM degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience.
- Active and transferable SECRET U.S. government security clearance required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibility.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum, automated testing, and continuous integration.
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
