Senior Embedded Software Engineer position at Collins Aerospace in Richardson, TX onsite, requiring an active DoD Secret clearance.

Provide direct support to stakeholders to answer questions and resolve technical issues.
Design and implement software that satisfies customer requirements and certification needs.
Produce high quality software builds within an integrated test environment.
Derive software requirements, create UML design diagrams, and implement solutions from UML designs.
Collaborate with Senior and Principal level Software Engineers and mentor junior engineers and interns.
Assist in software requirements verification and testing activities.

Typically a STEM degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience.
Active and transferable SECRET U.S. government security clearance required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibility.
Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum, automated testing, and continuous integration.
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
