Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Senior Embedded Software Engineer role focused on delivering embedded features, supporting embedded Linux deployments, and improving rugged smart display/computer product software.

Responsibilities

• Implement embedded software features aligned to requirements for new products and customer-specific custom features
• Deploy and configure the embedded Linux operating system
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in existing deployed products
• Administer software configuration management and manage software release schedules
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies and tools relevant to embedded systems

Requirements

• 7-15 years embedded software design experience
• Education: BSEE, BSCS, or BSCE
• Strong C/C++ coding and debugging skills
• Expertise with Linux on embedded systems ( Yocto preferred )
• Experience designing real-time embedded software systems
• Hardware abstraction and board bring-up experience (highly desired)
• ARM secure boot experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with setting up and maintaining a development environment, including tools, servers, and a source code control system
• Algorithmic application development and optimization experience
• Self-motivated team player
• Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• US Person required
